Successful book launch

Nic Vine’s book How Can We Make This Happen? : Successful Change Through Incentives and Trust was successfully launched on 8 Sep at Waterstones Greenwich.

A crowd of some 20 friends and colleagues of the author heard Jon Sibson, Pro Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich introduce Nic and the book.  Jon praised Nic’s contribution to the Faculty, and admired his self-motivation in getting the book completed and published.

Nic explained the background, that he wanted to capture his experience and observations over 30+ years, his mentoring of young professionals facing their first big project or change responsibility.  He related the frustrations and anxieties that are experienced by many authors, and how pleased he was to be presenting the finished book.

The evening concluded with some signing and a lot of animated discussions over wine and nibbles.

Signed copies direct to you

You can now request signed copies of books from the author, using Paypal to make your payment.  You don’t need a Paypal account, you can use a credit or debit card.  When you have made the payment, contact us with your name and address, and any message you would like in the book.  The book will then be sent to you with free postage & packing.

The Distribution network is in full swing now, reaching well beyond the de facto Amazon (paperback and Kindle).

First book published – on time, too

We’re all very excited at Trenchant Books to announce that Nic Vine’s book ‘How Can We Make This Happen? : Successful Change Through Incentives and Trust‘ is now available in paperback, Kindle, and other eBook formats through multiple channels including Amazon and Google Books.  Our Buy page provides all the links.

Nic is one of our founder authors, and his book has been a long time in the making.  We are very pleased that he has practised what he preaches, and delivered the completed project, with some assistance from our partners at Professional Publishing Services (RHE Media Ltd).

The publishing deadline had been set some months ago for the end of June, and the paperback was available from 21 Jun, and the eBook formats from 30 Jun – phew, just made it.

First book coming v soon

Much excitement at the Trenchant Books house as our first book is close to publication.

‘How Can We Make This Happen? Successful Change Through Incentives and Trust” by Nic Vine is in final proofing for both the paperback and eBook versions.

Barring any ‘unknown unknowns’, this ground-breaking book will be available before the end of June (yes, this June).  This has been a background, on/off project for Nic over the last 5 years, and he deserves a modest round of applause for finally getting it over the line (offstage: “but I could tune the text some more”).  You can read about it on the Books page.
